White Hat Hacker Discovers Euler’s First Deposit Bug and Receives $50,000 Bounty

According to Foresight News, a white hat hacker named Kankodu claimed to have discovered a ‘first deposit bug’ in Euler in July 2022, for which they received a $50,000 vulnerability bounty. However, the subsequent introduction of the ‘donateToReserves’ function to fix the bug led to a later theft of $200 million.
